DPDP Compliance

IndiaExamHub is committed to complying with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), India’s landmark legislation governing the processing of personal data. This page explains how we uphold your rights under the DPDP and the measures we have implemented to ensure transparency and accountability in our data practices.

Scope and Applicability

The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data within India, and to processing outside India if it relates to offering goods or services to individuals in India. IndiaExamHub is an informational blog platform that provides model question papers for academic preparation. We do not require users to register, create accounts, or provide personal information to access our content. However, we may collect limited, non-identifiable data through automated means such as web analytics and cookies.

Your Rights Under DPDP

Under the DPDP, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access your personal data held by us
  • Right to request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to request erasure of your personal data
  • Right to withdraw consent for any processing based on consent
  • Right to grievance redressal if you believe your rights have been violated

Please note: Since we do not collect personal data through registration or forms, most of these rights apply only if you have voluntarily provided identifiable information (e.g., via contact form).

How We Comply

IndiaExamHub complies with the DPDP by:

  • Minimizing data collection to only what is necessary for site functionality
  • Using anonymized analytics tools that do not identify individuals
  • Not storing personal data in databases or user profiles
  • Providing clear information about data practices on this page
  • Responding to legitimate data rights requests within the legal timeframe

Data We Process

Under the DPDP, the only personal data we may process includes:

  • IP addresses collected automatically by analytics services (anonymized where possible)
  • Browser and device information for technical optimization
  • Any personal data voluntarily submitted via our contact form (e.g., name, email)

We do not collect sensitive personal data, biometric data, or financial information.

Legal Basis for Processing

Our processing of personal data is based on:

  • Legitimate interest — to ensure the website functions properly and improves user experience
  • Consent — when you voluntarily submit information via our contact form

We do not rely on consent for analytics data collected through cookies, as such data is anonymized and does not constitute personal data under DPDP.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your rights under the DPDP, please send a request to our Data Protection Contact:

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Subject line: “DPDP Request”
  • Include your name and the specific right you wish to exercise
  • Provide any relevant details (e.g., email used to contact us)

We will verify your identity before processing your request to prevent unauthorized access.

Response Timeframes

Under the DPDP, we are required to respond to your request within 30 days of receipt. In complex cases, we may extend this period by an additional 15 days and will notify you of the delay with reasons.

No Discrimination Policy

IndiaExamHub does not and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the DPDP. You will not be denied access to our resources, charged fees, or receive lower quality service for requesting access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent.

Updates and Changes

We may update this DPDP Compliance page periodically to reflect changes in the law or our practices. Any material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. We recommend reviewing this page occasionally.
